Is Fanatics Live Legit? Fanatics Live vs Godpack, Reviewed
Yes, Fanatics Live is legit. Fanatics Live, Inc., part of the Fanatics sports collectibles company, runs it, and its iPhone app was rated 4.7 out of 5 from 5.4K ratings on October 21, 2026. It is a sports-first live-break app, mainly for US users (it launched in the UK in 2025), with Pokémon as one category. How we reviewed Fanatics Live
Godpack sells Pokémon packs, so we compete with Fanatics Live. Every Fanatics Live fact here comes from its Help Center, Terms of Use, blog, Instant Rips page and App Store listing, or from CNBC and TechCrunch, checked October 21, 2026. Anything we could not confirm is left out.
Is Fanatics Live legit?
Yes. Here is what we verified.
- Company. Its Terms of Use are a contract between you and Fanatics Live, Inc.
- Parent and launch. CNBC reported in February 2023 that Fanatics hired Nick Bell, formerly of Snap and Google, to lead it. TechCrunch reported its launch on July 26, 2023.
- Legal terms. Delaware law, with individual arbitration you can opt out of.
- Buyer protection. If a seller does not resolve a dispute fairly, Collector Protection refunds the full purchase price and shipping on approved claims.
- Ratings. The App Store showed 4.7 out of 5 from 5.4K ratings on October 21, 2026. We found no Trustpilot page for it.
Is Fanatics Live a scam, and is it safe?
Nothing we found suggests Fanatics Live is a scam. Know the rules first. Sales are final, and an accidental bid can only be flagged within 2 hours. Graded items bought directly from sellers are not eligible for refund.
Does Fanatics Live have Pokémon?
Yes, inside a sports-first app. Its App Store listing calls it "the first digital marketplace designed specifically for sports trading cards and memorabilia."
- Pokémon breaks. Its blog promoted $1 starting bids on single Journey Together pack breaks in March 2025.
- Pokémon Instant Rips. Fanatics Collect listed Pokémon packs from $25 to $2,500 on October 21, 2026.
How does Fanatics Live work?
- Pick a show. Sellers stream around the clock, running team, random, player, divisional, box and case breaks.
- Buy a spot or a card. You buy a break spot, bid in an auction or buy a fixed-price listing.
- Watch the open. Repacks and mystery boxes must be opened on stream with high and low values, average price and checklist posted.
- Get your cards. Cards ship to you in the US. Instant Rips cards go to your Vault in Fanatics Collect to keep, list or ship.
How do Instant Rips and Instant Rips Breaks work?
Instant Rips are Fanatics' own digital packs, launched in March 2025. In an Instant Rips Break, a breaker builds packs from their own cards, and Fanatics seals and vaults them. Every buyer gets a card, and each break shows a checklist with floor, average and ceiling values.
Its Seller Guidelines also ban duck races, spins, rolls, raffles, roulette wheels and third-party randomized results.

Fanatics Live buyback and fees
Fanatics Live's only buyback is Instant Credit, on Fanatics' own Instant Rips.
- The rate. 90% of the card's Card Ladder value, minus a 6% marketplace fee. Fanatics' own example turns a $200 card into $169.20.
- The window. You have 48 hours to accept the offer.
- How it pays. As Fanatics Live credit. Its Terms say credits have no cash value and can't pay for shipping, fees or taxes.
- What is excluded. Breaker-run Instant Rips Breaks and live breaks have no buyback.
On Godpack, every pulled card can be sold back for its value minus a 5% fee, and VIP rates go as low as 1.5%.
Fanatics Live: how to withdraw
Instant Credits, Rewards and FanCash have no cash value, so they cannot be withdrawn, and we found no cash-out option for buyers. To turn cards into money, list them for sale as a seller. Sellers must be US residents and are paid after a 6% transaction fee plus 2.9% and $0.30 processing.
Godpack pays withdrawals to a bank account, debit card or Venmo with a 3% fee. Deposits must be spent on packs once first, and the first withdrawal needs an ID check.
Does Fanatics Live ship to Canada?
No. Its Help Center says "International shipping is not supported at this time," and only users registered in the US can take part. In the US, shipping is $4.95 plus $0.50 per extra item. A single item ships within 3 business days.
Godpack ships to the US for $5 and to Canada for $10 per card, plus any Canadian import duties. Ship within seven days of the pull, or sell the card back.

The honest part
In a break, an Instant Rip or a Godpack pack, you don't choose the card, and most opens land in the lower part of a checklist or odds table. Godpack sets each pack to a 100% expected return, so the average card is worth the pack price, but any single pack can be worth more or less.
Both sites are for adults: 18 or older, and the age of majority where you live. Open packs for collecting and fun, not to make money.
