Godpack Pull Rates and Odds — Is Godpack Fair?
Godpack's pull rates are the published odds of each pack's five value tiers, shown in full before you buy, and every pack is set to a 100% expected return, so the average card is worth the pack price.

From Godpack's public pack data on October 17, 2026. Base holds the cards worth up to the pack price and the four tiers above hold cards worth more. Odds move as cards are pulled and new stock is added; the app always shows the current table and each tier's value range.
A pull rate is the chance that one pack gives you a card from a given group, such as a rarity or a value tier. On Godpack, pull rates are published per value tier: Base, Core, Hit, Chase and Grail. Every pack's rates are solved so the average card is worth the pack price, and the full table appears before you buy.
What are Godpack's pull rates?
Godpack's pull rates are published per value tier, and on October 17, 2026 every pack drew its Base tier 44.5% to 54.6% of the time and its Grail tier 3.2% to 3.6% of the time. Base holds cards worth up to the pack price; Core, Hit, Chase and Grail hold cards worth more, each tier dearer than the one below. See what each tier held on the pack pages, start with the $1 Starter pack, or compare with Prismatic Evolutions pull rates for sealed boosters.
How Godpack sets the odds
- 100% expected return. Each pack's odds are solved so that, averaged over its pool, the card is worth the pack price, to within half a cent. The app's odds sheet says so in its title: “100% EV”.
- Tiers by value. The pack price is a fixed boundary: Base sits at or under it, and every tier above holds cards worth strictly more than the tier below. Tier ranges never overlap.
- Equal chances inside a tier part. Base is split into two parts and Grail into three, each with its own weight, so the dearest Grail cards are the hardest to pull. Within one part, every card is equally likely.
- A real, changing pool. Paid packs draw only from physical inventory. A pulled card leaves the pool, the pack is re-solved for the cards still in it, and new stock is placed hourly.
- Locked when you buy. Your price and odds are captured before you are charged. Changes to a pack's odds or price apply only to later purchases.
- Empty tiers stay visible. A tier with no cards stays in the table at 0%, marked “Currently out of stock.”
What the five tiers mean
| Tier | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Base | Cards worth up to the pack price. The app shows it as two rows, Base I and Base II. |
| Core | The first step above the pack price, and the most common tier after Base. |
| Hit | Higher-value cards, roughly one open in ten. |
| Chase | Rarer cards just below the top of the pack. |
| Grail | The pack's most valuable cards, about one open in thirty. |

Worked examples
Reading the Starter table
On October 17, Starter's two Base rows added up to 44.5% and its Grail tier was 3.6%. So about 44 in 100 opens land a card worth up to $1, and 3 or 4 in 100 a Grail card.
Why Grail stays rare with lots of cards in it
Master's Grail tier held 333 of its 1,047 slabs, nearly a third of the pool, yet came up only 3.5% of the time. Odds are set per tier, not per card, so a tier's size does not decide how often it appears.
What 100% expected return means for one Master pack
The average Master slab is worth $100, yet Base, slabs worth up to $100 such as a PSA 10 Jynx ex from Scarlet & Violet 151 at $100, held 47.4% of the odds. The top slab that day was a PSA 10 Mew ex at $2,900.
Why most opens sit near the bottom
Base and Core together made up 79% to 82% of the odds in every pack. A few Grail cards worth many times the price pull the average up.
Is Godpack fair?
Godpack's packs are priced at their average card value and the odds are shown before every purchase, so you know what you are buying. Any single pack can still be worth more or less than its price. Godpack earns from fees, such as the sell-back fee, rather than from the odds. About Godpack covers who runs it.
What Godpack does not offer
The web app has no “provably fair” seed checker. Each open is recorded by Godpack, but there is no public tool for checking a single draw yourself. What you can check is the published odds table before you pay, the card's grade and certification number, and the physical card once it ships.
Pokémon pull rates vs Godpack's odds
For sealed boosters, Pokémon pull rates are estimates: stores and collectors open thousands of packs and count how often each rarity turns up. TCGplayer's count of more than 4,000 Pitch Black packs, for example, found a Double Rare in about 1 in 5 packs, an Illustration Rare in about 1 in 9, an Ultra Rare in about 1 in 12 and a Special Illustration Rare in about 1 in 80.
Godpack's pull rates work differently. Each pack holds one card, the odds are set per value tier rather than per rarity, and the app shows every tier's exact chance and value range before you pay, so you do not have to rely on someone else's count.
| Sealed booster | Godpack pack | |
|---|---|---|
| Where the rates come from | Counts from opening many packs | Published by the pack before you buy |
| What they describe | Rarities, such as Special Illustration Rare | Five value tiers, from Base to Grail |
| Cards per pack | 10 game cards | One card |
| Expected return | Not published | 100% of the pack price |
God pack odds: Godpack packs are not god packs
There are no god pack odds on Godpack, because a Godpack pack holds one card, not a full booster, and its web packs have no god pack feature. A god pack is a rare sealed booster in which every card is a hit; The Pokémon Company does not publish how often they appear, and in Pokémon TCG Pocket the Rare Pack that players call a god pack is reported at 0.05%. The name is a coincidence; our god pack guide covers the sets and reported odds.
How to check a pack's odds before you open
- Open the pack screen. Go to app.godpack.gg/packs. You can look without an account.
- Pick a pack. Choose Starter, Trainer, Arena or Master. The screen shows the pack's value range per pack.
- Tap Odds. Each row is a tier, with its current value range and its chance per pack. The rows add up to 100%.
- Tap View hits, then decide. See the top cards in the pack, then open it only if the odds suit you. You must be 18 or older to buy.
What's free and what it costs
| Item | Cost |

| Packs | $1, $10, $25 or $100 |
| Selling back | 5% fee as standard, down to 1.5% for VIP members |
| Shipping | $5 per card to the US, $10 to Canada |
| Cash withdrawal | 3% fee, by bank transfer, debit card or Venmo |
Fair odds still vary pack to pack
Odds describe the pool, not your next pack. A 3.6% Grail rate means about 3 or 4 Grail cards per 100 opens on average, but any run of packs can land more or fewer, and roughly half of all opens land in Base, cards worth up to the pack price. Card values also move with the market after you pull.
You must be 18 or older, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, to open real packs. Open them for collecting and fun, not to make money.
Compare the packs

What are Godpack's pull rates?
Godpack publishes odds per value tier: on October 17, 2026 every pack drew Base 44.5% to 54.6% of the time and Grail 3.2% to 3.6% of the time. Each pack shows its current table before you buy.
What does 100% expected return mean?
It means the odds are solved so the average card value equals the pack price. It is an average over many packs: any single pack can be worth more or less.
How do Pokémon pull rates compare with Godpack odds?
Pokémon pull rates for sealed boosters are counts from opening many packs, such as about 1 in 80 Pitch Black packs holding a Special Illustration Rare. Godpack publishes the exact odds of each value tier before you buy, and each pack holds one card.
What are the odds of a god pack on Godpack?
There are none: Godpack's packs are not Pokémon god packs and hold one card each. For sealed Pokémon boosters, god pack odds are not published.
Can the odds change after I buy?
No. Your price and odds are captured before you are charged, and changes to a pack's odds or price apply only to later purchases.
Is Godpack provably fair?
Not in the seed-checking sense: the web app has no provably fair checker for individual opens. You can check the published odds before you pay, the grade and certification number on a slab, and the card once shipped.
