The Starter pack is Godpack's $1 Pokémon mystery pack. Each one holds a single real card drawn at random from a pool of about 1,280 cards, nearly all Near Mint raw cards, with a small number of PSA slabs in the top tier. The pack shows its current value range and full odds before you pay, and you can ship the card or sell it back.
What can you pull from a $1 Starter pack?
A $1 Starter pack gives you one card from a pool that was 99% raw cards on October 17, 2026, topped by 13 PSA slabs. The pool leans on recent sets such as Prismatic Evolutions, Ascended Heroes and Chaos Rising, with older cards from sets like Fossil and Team Rocket mixed in. See how the odds are set on the pull rates page, compare it with the other three packs, or see how to get a free pack through referrals and check-ins.

The cheapest way to get a real Pokémon card
If you are looking for cheap Pokémon cards, the $1 Starter pack is the lowest-priced pack on Godpack. A sealed Pokémon booster pack has an MSRP of $4.49 for 10 game cards from one set. A Starter pack costs $1 for one real card, picked from a pool of more than 1,200 Near Mint raw cards with 13 PSA slabs at the top.
Cheap cards are only cheap if you keep the total cost low. Shipping is $5 per card, so for most $1 pulls it makes more sense to sell the card back to your balance and ship only the cards worth more than shipping.
Examples: real Starter pulls
A Base pull
A raw Mega Lucario ex from Mega Evolution, listed at $0.80. Base is the most likely tier, and its cards are worth up to the $1 price.
A Hit pull
A raw Lucario V from Fusion Strike at $1.46, a little more than the pack price.
A raw Grail card
Most of the Grail tier is raw. A Surfing Pikachu V from Celebrations sat there at $4.45.
A Grail slab
The PSA 7 Radiant Charizard from Pokémon GO, at $20, is one of the 13 slabs.

What a Starter pull costs to keep
Shipping is $5 per card to the US or $10 to Canada, one card per shipment, so for most Starter cards shipping costs more than the card. You may prefer to sell low-value pulls back (5% fee as standard) and ship the slabs. Cards not shipped within seven days of the pull sell automatically at their card value minus the fee.
What to expect
Starter is set to a 100% expected return, so across the pool the average card is worth $1. Any single pack can be worth more or less: on October 17, the two Base rows added up to 44.5% of the odds, cards worth up to the price. The 13 slabs make up about 1% of the pool, and the Grail tier draws its dearest cards least often.
You must be 18 or older, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, to open real packs. Open them for collecting and fun, not to make money.
